What Passes As Nutrition

Just to prove a point, these pics were taken on Level 5 of Prince of Wales Hospital last week. Mum was in for a knee replacement.
Take a careful look at what the food industry wants us to think is "nourishment" and "nutrition. It must be of course, because they wouldn't be allowed to put something like that next to the elevators in one of the biggest public hospitals in the country if it wasn't true, would they?

You're kidding. They'd may as well fill the fridge with rocks.

Actually, eating rocks would be less harmful to the human bod than half of that crap in the fridge.

So that's coke, coke, coke, other drink that's very like coke, oh, & OJ - I guess that's not too bad. Any highly-sugared nibbles?

I don't think this will make it more nutritious, but it's fun to watch.

I wonder what is in the non-nutritional machine.

Probably more Coke variations...

nourishment to our entertainment.nourishing the sick and twisted belief that being grotesquely overweight is ok if you drink diet coke. "its ok,it isnt sugar, its only a cancerous by-product of a demented money making scheme."

Because I am from the states I only recognize three of those products but if the rest of that stuff qualifies as "nutrious" as I'm assuming the first three are, I am saddened by humanity. Oh, and I hope your mom is recovering quickly.

Mother is doing fine. Bored out of her brain in the rehab hospital and a little stiff, but fine.
