Before CGI, They Made Real Commercials

That's right... all these stunts are real. All the driving's real. There's no CGI. No animated special effects. No green screen.

Amazing.

Rachel watches in awe and fear at the driving, but also wonders how many prangs there were in the shooting of it :D

Yes, the questions would be Number of Prangs and Number of cars lost in the river!

Most excellent though!

I am blown away by the choreography in this commercial, it's beautiful and graceful, and the driving is out of this world.

Probably wouldn't even be allowed to show this anymore - because "people might try it at home". Didn't they just pull a few ads off the TV recently because the cars were "driving too fast"?
Fun is being sucked out of this world - sigh.
Beautiful choreography though, really lovely.

even the jumping over the river via the barge in paris is real? and the frogleaping over the other cars on the bridge? that's got a faked up funky kind of look to it. i reckon that bits not real, but i'd go for the rest of it being real. i LOVE the way the driver put his indicator on to turn right in the Metro. i hooted out loud at that bit.
so considerate those japanese!!!
i loved it. tres excellente.

Haha, after reading caw's comment, had to go back and rewatch it for the indicators!
